First of all… what is CryoFreeze?

It’s a fast effective cryotherapy treatment that kills skin lesions, like verucca’s, warts & skin tags. This treatment uses a ‘CryoPen’ that uses a highly pressurised cold liquid nitrous oxide to treat the problem area/areas.

So, is CryoFreeze / Crotherapy safe for children verrucas?

Simple answer is Yes cryotherapy is safe for children’s verrucas, warts or skin lesions. When performed by a trained professional CryoFreeze is used safely, in small amounts to ensure healthy surrounding skin isn’t compromised and to minimise any discomfort.

Your initial consultation

Angie, our skincare expert will examine the problem area. From this, a decision will be made on whether this is the most efficient course of treatment. If it is, then a bespoke plan will be put together. As each treatment is generally a short procedure, the first treatment can normally be done at the same time as the consultation.

How many treatments will be needed?

How many treatments required depends on the size of the verucca or wart and how long it has been there, the smaller size and life span the less amount of treatments, usually around 1-3 spaced 3-4 weeks apart can successfully treat most sizes.

It varies as there are differing factors, however CryoFreeze is highly effective and provides great results, as it works by killing the blood supply to the area.  The blood supply are those little black dots that you can usually see around the surface.  As the virus begins to die the wart/verucca will look darker as the roots become more shallow, then in time, it disappears altogether, leaving no trace behind, just fresh, healthy virus free skin.
